Short Morning Update 12-2-06

Just wanted everyone to know that Andrea got out of bed this morning and stood up with a little help and took some steps. She then sat in the recliner in her room for 30 minutes. This was a big step for her and we are extremely proud of her. It is amazing that all the little things have her down and she continues to make huge improvements everyday. What a strong girl she is. Well just wanted to fill everyone in and I will write more tonight. Continue to pray for Andrea (it is working).

I was so glad your mom e-mailed this sight to me. I asked about Andrea often, but this sight makes it so easy to find out all her improvements. She has come a long way!!!! Ben, Jacob, and Allie remember Andrea every night in their prayers. I just want you to let Andrea know that all of us in Corinth, MS are praying for her! Prayer really works.

Love, Janice

Janice Holley let us know about Andrea so we could pray for her. Every Tuesday morning we have a devotion and pray for each other, special needs, our school and the children we teach. We just wanted to let you all know that we will remember to pray for Andrea and will continue to check the site so we can keep up with her progress. Yes, prayer does work! One thing I know...God is good, and I trust Him. I am looking forward to a praise report about how well Andrea is doing.

J. I read Andrea's sight in my first grade classroom today. About 40 little eyes were staring over my shoulder asking questions. That is a normal day for me...questions, questions, questions. Please tell her that all our friends here do remember her in their prayers, and yes, prayers really do work. We ask about Andrea daily within our family here in Corinth and this web sight is a great way to keep us informed. J. I know we do get to see you often enough but we certainly love you a lot and I know this is a hard time for you but it seems that Andrea is one tough little cookie, tell her that we are thinking of her. Send me her mailing address and I'll have a lot of little kids make her a card.

Hi Jay and Andrea-
This is Alex and Bart. We just got back from our wedding and are exstatic to see this wonderful website and the amazing progress that Andrea has made in the last week. She is so strong and positive. You both are a constant in our prayers and thoughts! I will send you the link to our wedding pictures website when it is ready, I am sure that would put a smile on Andrea's face :) We love her very much! Please give her all our love and let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers. It is truly amazing the power of prayer.

Please, let me know an address where we can send items or cards for Andrea!!! We will be celebrating the 100th day of school in a couple of weeks and I came up with the idea to send Andrea 100 get well cards. Reading them should keep her busy for awhile.

Pam & Wallace Anderson have been giving us updates on Andrea's illness and progress for our prayers here in Cuero, Texas.

As the pastor of the congregation of Frist Presbyterian Church in Cuero, I can say that many of us are praying for the situation, even though we have never met!

But we are all "one in Christ" and are united in the bond of the Spirit.

I'll look forward to reading your future posts.

Happy New Year Andrea and J! I am sure that has a very special meaning for you.

Andrea, you are definitely a fighting Horned Frog! Way to go TCU (my hometown team).

Andrea, you have the fighting spirit of Forest Gump. We are all cheering for you, "Run Andrea, run!" Maybe more appropriately, "Live Andrea, live."

Andrea, you are an inspiration to me! Praise God for His healing powers, J, your family, the medical staff of St. Lukes, your friends, and your spirit!

I've been sending my love with Perry...but I just wanted to send you a note, and say I'm thinking of you guys constantly. Not a day goes by that I don't think about and want to talk to Andrea. Please tell her that I pick up my phone everyday to call her and tell her stuff and talk to her, and I'm praying for the day to come when I will be able to. Please tell her how much I love her. She is definately one of the strongest people I have ever known, and I love you guys so much.

Talk to you soon.
