Better, But Not There Yet

As soon as Andrea feels "better", there is a set back of either a stomach ache or headache. She is up to 112 lbs., which is better than 110!!
Plans are for the spinal tap of methotrexate on Friday. She usually stays flat on her back for 5-7 days after a spinal tap, but Pain Management will be involved in this one and hopefully with a pediatric needle and blood patch, she will experience less pain. Prayers are a real blessing at this point.

Hi Andrea -- I will specifically pray for a better spinal tap on Friday, and that it won't be as hard as the last ones have been. And I also will be praying that the chemo goes in and starts busting up that small lesion. You are one strong young woman and I pray for your continued strength and recovery. I know you have been through so much.
Love,
Carolyn

Hey girl! Wish I could send you some good ol' fish 'n' chips from England - they would surely pack on some pounds :) Thinking of you lots and praying for you tomorrow. Lots of hugs!

Andrea:

Please know I am praying for you today that the spinal tap and chemo will go well without being such a painful experience. Great news to hear you are eating and gained some too. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers continuously.
