New Plans

The stem cell doctor said he would be taking over Andrea's treatment totally since she does not have the Ommaya Reservoir in her head anymore. This is good news since we do trust him and his physician's assistant to help and follow up with Andrea like they did before. They will try a new chemo next week in the spinal cord. Spinal taps are horrible, but there will be a different approach this time. Andrea is feeling well enough now to eat, so I will be offering any and all foods she can tolerate to pack on some pounds.
Just please pray that all comes together to obliterate that tiny lesion in her brain!

It is our desire and privilege to pray for you, Andrea, each and every day. I was reading from the Message in Ephesians and tho't of you at this verse in chapter 3: "God can do anything, you know--far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!" Let's keep on asking and expecting! He is a great God. Bless you today with improved health, renewed energy, and restored faith! We love you, J, and your family!! Doug & Gay

Dear Andrea,

We are happy that you are feeling better. It is wonderful that you have a doctor who you can trust and who has a plan for your treatment. We hope that you have fun at the lake this weekend. You are always in our prayers.

Love, Alice and Art

Dear Andrea,

Sounds like things are moving right along. I'm glad you are with the doctor that you like and trust so much. I pray for the new chemo approach to be more comfortable and to knock out that little lesion. I hope those pounds come back quickly. Everytime I eat, I think of you, so, since I'm thinking of you very often, I'm packing on my own pounds, just in case they ever figure out a way to transfer them to another person.

As always, I look forward to the next report, and am praying, praying, praying for you.

Love,

Carolyn

Andrea, I hope this little note finds you feeling much better after your week-end at the lake, I know we certainly did enjoy Betty and Mary here in Mississippi while all of you were enjoying the peace and quiet there. If you want some country time you should come here..ha...Love Aunt Peggy
