MDA Day 43, Spring

Today is the first day of spring and after 43 days, Andrea happily got to go outside in her wheelchair for "real air and sunshine". She is doing better each day with physical therapy. We are real glad that she is sitting up, but she is hard on herself because she is not sitting up "straight". We know that it will happen as she becomes stronger, but it's hard for her to not be able to do that now. (You all know her "can do" personality.....) I am now waking up with a "to do" list for the day, and that makes me happy : ) We think dialysis will either be 2 or 3 days a week, but I'm predicting it will be less sooner rather than later.
Thank you for your prayers as we remember you and yours, too.

Andrea, I am so glad you got to get outside today! What a pretty day! You have really been heavy on my mind the last several months. I have been praying numerous times a day for your health and will continue to do so.

John 16:33 (21st Century King James Version)

33These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world."

Your Brother in Christ!

Ah! The first day of Spring!! Not only has "spring sprung", but so has Andrea by getting to go out into the real air and sunshine!!! Way to go, A!! I always think the sunshine has a healing effect--the warmth of God on my shoulders, etc--so I am thrilled that that has come to pass! Keep on gaining strength--and remember to be kind to yourself and let the healing process take place. We love you!! Gay & Doug

Hi Andrea, that is the beauty of sping -- new beginnings, and it sounds like that is exactly what you are doing. I am so happy that you are active and doing things. Such a blessing.....still praying daily and hourly....just get well and come home. I want to see your new house.

Take care and am always looking forward to the next blog -- it always seems to be a good one.

Much love,

Carolyn
