Stronger but continued frustration

Andrea is doing well at TIRR and has become strong enough that they arranged for her to try out a motorized wheelchair that also moves into the standing position. She is just now trying it out, so it will be a while before she decides on which one will be the right fit for her.
As she becomes stronger it is just so strange that Andrea's mouth has become numb. The neuro doctor said that even though the MRI showed improvement of the brain scan, the hyperintensity is resting over the sensory part so that would explain the numbness in the mouth and face.
We just keep on praying that this nerve disruption dissapates quickly, and thank you for yours.

How frustrating! Numbness is so annoying. Of course, we'll pray that it passes quickly. Andrea's complete recovery will always be our prayer. Sending hugs from the fynbos.

We continue to pray for you Andrea many times a day and your family. I am so sorry that you are experiencing the numbness on your lips.

May God grant you the strength that you need to face each day and that the hyperintensity dissappates very soon.

We love you,

Nalda

Hi Andrea,

I am praying daily that all of these symptoms go away quickly. You are so strong and such an inspiration. I definitely agree with shopping for the house whenever you can. That is fun therapy. Take care. My thoughts, prayers and heart are with you.

Love, Carolyn

Andrea, Just because you do not hear from us does not mean we aren't thinking about you and J. We talk about the two of you soooo much that I am surprised your ears do not burn. All good of course! I pray that each day brings improvements your way. Tell Betty to e-mail us pictures of your new house. I would love to see them...Love you all much, Aunt Peggy and Uncle Dan

Andrea, please let this scripture help you in your walk to recovery.

Isaiah 40:29
The Lord helps tired people be strong. He gives power to those without it.

Andrea, I am praying that God gives you unexplained strength, that he heals you completely. God Bless!!

Your Brother in Christ!!
