Back in Hospital

Thursday when Andrea went to her primary doctor she had fever, chills, headache and a stiff neck, so he wouldn't let her go home and admitted her into the hospital. He called the neuro onclogy unit and talked to Andrea for a long time. He said he believed the Ara-C chemo was having abnormal reactions and needed to rule out the reoccurance of meningitis. She will have a spinal tap today. We know how spinal taps affect Andrea, and they will try to do it better this time around.
Please keep her in your prayers.

Dear Andrea and family,
I took a break from the computer for a few days, and I'm so sorry to read about everything that has been going on for you.
I didn't take a break from my prayers though, and I pray that this is but a little gliche and that things will turn around and get better soon, very soon.
Love,
Carolyn

I'm sorry you are back in the hospital. When I talked with Betty she told me Christmas went well and you did have some fever but Santa was very good to everyone there in Houston. I wish I lived closer so I could help. We sure wish you well and we do keep you in our prayers. Dan sent his best to you. We love you lots. Peggy

Kathy,

I asked Clint who he liked best for his spinal taps, and he said he would only let Sue or Jill do them. Try to request them next time and see if they'll use a pediatric needle. Sorry to hear Andrea is in the hospital again. Let me know if you need anything over the weekend.
