Got Platelets!
Andrea got the platelets that she needed late this afternoon. Thank you so much for those of you who are taking time out of your busy schedules and work to come by MDA to donate blood and platelets. I know it is an extra challenge with the construction down here in the medical center, but it is truly appreciated. Andrea is in the "rough" part of the treatment, but she is a real trooper and is hanging in there.

I am thankful for the platelets. I did check with United Blood Services here and they said they could transfer platelets to MDA; however, Jim went to India recently, and they will not accept his platelets for a period of one year...I do hope you are feeling better soon...We continue to pray..

Yeah...Patrick was on hold for 15 minutes trying to make an appointment today. They said all of a sudden they had an influx of people trying to give. Praise God! We will continue to pray that He will meet all of your needs.
